Stable House

IMG 6147

Traditional outside, modern inside. At first glance, the cottage looks like a building built in the traditional Norwegian way. But as you enter, you find yourself in a modern mountain cabin that keeps pace with the trend of functional Scandinavian minimalism. Add the stunning view over the Hemsedal valley and you know where you go for your next adventure.

Located right next to a main Huso Lodge building, Stable House maintains its own, unmistakable integrity. One side of the house is surrounded by a rocky hill, while the other side offers an open view across the magnificent valley. Thanks to this arrangement, you will feel safe inside and nothing will stand on your way to a perfect mountain restart.

The Stable House can accommodate groups of sixteen throughout its eight bedrooms.

  • Six bedrooms have two single beds.(the single beds can be combined to form a double)
  • Two bedrooms have one single bed and one lofted bed.

The Stable House was recently renovated to feature an open concept kitchen, living and dining area, perfect for spending quality time together as a group. Five bathrooms are included, each with a shower, sink and toilet. Finally, an outdoor terrace with bench seating, a grill and a hot tub connects to large group sauna that can seat all sixteen guests.

Cottage details:

16 people, 3 double bedrooms with toilet, 3 double bedrooms, 2 lofted rooms with 2 single beds and shower and basin, 5 toilets, 5 showers, 1 big common open area with 2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms and 1 kitchen, 1 sauna, 1 badestamp, 1 terrace
