Simple and beautiful route in Hemsedal center. This is a route suitable for most people with varied terrain. The route is also good if the weather is not on your side.

The hiking trail is an easily accessible path from the center in Hemsedal. A fantastic round where parts of the hike follow the river Hemsila. You cross 2 nice bridges, and if you are lucky you can see trout swimming.
Author's advice
If you want to take a shorter route, you can cross the suspension bridge at Solstad, about 500 meters down along the Hemsilstigen.
Turn-by-turn directions
This round route from Hemsedal Center follows the river towards Ulsåk and back over Grønåsstigen. The path is marked green and very easy to complete for most within a few hours. There is a bench along the river and at the top of the hill you get a beautiful view over the valley.
Directions
Walk from the Tourist Office towards Ulsåk on the footpath, cross over at Power, turn left towards the Fire Station and motorhome disposal. The trail starts at the corner behind the Fire Station.
