Hemsedal Up N’ Down is back on Saturday, 7 March 2026 – and you don’t want to miss it! This lift-based ski race brings speed, style and good vibes to Hemsedal Ski Resort, with a high-energy finish line at SkiStua. It’s Scandinavia’s most exciting and social ski race – where fun, fitness and team spirit rule.
Here’s how it works:
Teams of 2–3 people
Choose between men’s, women’s, mixed, junior or chill class
We recommend to go alpine on this race and use skiis.
You ski down each course one time, all in all, there are 4 courses.
Final time = average time of all team members
Top 3 teams in each class share the prize pot
And that’s not all: we’ll be giving away random prize draws worth several thousand NOK – and everyone who enters has an equal chance to win.
Who can join?
Whether you’re a seasoned skier or just in great shape and love a challenge, this race is for you. You set your own pace – but remember, you’re responsible for being fit enough to complete the course. Expect speed, laughs and serious leg burn.
